With all that is going on in our world these days in the Black community and Black Lives Matter movement, there hasn’t been a better time to decide how and where to spend your Black dollar.
That’s why in this post, I want to highlight some Black owned businesses to show your love and support he next time you’re on a hunt for hair care products. I know many other websites will just share the names of Black owned beauty companies, but I’ve taken an extra step to research the names and faces of the owner of the following companies. For some of these companies, you might already know who the owner is, due to their active presence in the natural hair community.
But for most, it’s nearly impossible to figure out who they are. I think it’s important for Black owned beauty products to be more visible, especially since there are so many black hair and beauty products that aren’t actually black owned.
By the way, I’ve included a couple men’s personal care brands as well. Be sure to check them out too.
