The thing about about natural hair that most ladies are unaware of is that natural hair is naturally dry.

After several years of writing about various hair topics relating to natural hair, I’m still surprised by the amount of questions that I get.

What surprises me the most is that about 80% of these questions and frustrations can be linked to dry hair.

Eventhough the natural hair community has been around for a while now, I am still surprised whenever I read a question online about dry natural hair.

Is it because the information online aren’t sufficient or clear? Could they be outdated, confusing, unsustainable and impractical?

I’m not sure what your situation is. But I want to ask you ONE question:

WHY do you want to learn about moisture retention and dry NATURAL hair?

Think about it for a second.

Most likely, there are several reasons, some might even go beyond hair.

I know there’s a bigger reason behind your wishes and goals. Maybe for you it’s freedom from extensions, more styling choices, confidence in yourself or to be an example to your kids and peers.

So what is it for you?

WHY – really WHY – do you want to stop your hair from feeling so dry and brittle all the time?

What would it mean for you to finally know what to do when your hair starts to feel dry?
