The holiday season is here, this means lots of parties, outings, get together and events. In today’s post, I want to share 12 beautiful holiday natural hairstyles you can try this holiday season.
I’ve put together a list of hairstyle ideas for different hair lengths, textures, and density.
This means that you don’t have to feel discouraged about your hair length not being included. One great thing about hairstyles is that it all depends on your creativity and your tolerance level.
You can also replicate the hairstyles by looking at the pictures or get your natural hairstylist to replicate the style for you.
1. Roll, Tuck & Pin Vintage Hairstyle
For this style, you can twist your hair up using a styling cream such as Mielle organics pomegranate & honey curl smoothie and then take down the hairstyle after a few hours when the twist have become dry. Then, part your hair on the side and roll the front part, and tuck it in with bobby pins.
2. Curly puff with a curly bang
For this style, you will need either flexi rod sets or rollers. After washing, deep conditioning, and moisturizing your hair, you will then curl your hair with flexi rod sets and a styling cream such as Jane Carter’s curl defining cream. Sit under a hooded dryer for the set to dry. Then, take down the rollers and style to your desired hairstyle. Depending on the occasion, you can add a cute hair accessory.
3. Side Sweep Rubberband With Fluffy Braid Outs
For this hairstyle, twist or braid your freshly clean and deep conditioned hair with a styling cream such as curls blueberry bliss twist-n-shout cream, be sure to use a leave-in conditioner from the same line and a sealant such as shea butter. Let the twists air dry or sit under a hooded dryer until the twists dry. Then, gradually take down the twists and separate neatly so you can maintain your curls. Then, add some hair accessories such as braid cuff rings or any other hair ornament you fancy.
4. Mohawk with Ankara Brooch
This hairstyle can be done on short or medium length hair because you can add some Marley hair to each hair section to add some volume and length. To finish the style, just add a cute accessory such a similar Ankara brooch or a hair flower.
5. Colored Curls
If you’ve been meaning to color your hair, but can’t seem to find the right time to take a leap, Christmas time is the perfect time to do it!
You don’t have to color your hair in this same color as you can choose a color that best suits you. For this hairstyle, it’s recommended that you go to a professional natural hair salon so that you can get the best result.
Your hair also has to be stretched with heat and then you would use rollers to set your curls. Then, take down the rollers and style and fluff to your desire.
6. Half-Up, Half-Down
If you have short hair and some level of creativity, you can pull off this style and look natural.
For this half-up, half-down hairstyle, you would just clip some kinky hair extensions which you can get HERE on the back of your hair and wrap some of the clip-in extensions around the bun at the top.

8. Flat Twists with Two Strand Twists
The holiday season is a very busy time, which means that you might want to have a style that lasts you till the new year. These flat twists are beautiful and the bangs can be styled in multiple ways because you can take it down for a twist out and then styled into an up-do. You can adorn this style with cute hair accessories such as hair cowries, flowers, or any hair jewelry of your choice.
9. Goddess Locs
While this hairstyle might look basic, you can actually style it in multiple ways. If you have a very busy holiday and post-holiday schedule, goddess locs might be the best hairstyle choice for you because you can still wear this hairstyle for a few weeks after the holidays are over.
